We are thrilled that Cirrus has once again won a prestigious EE (Employee Engagement) Award.
The EE Awards recognise excellence in engagement that inspires action and drives the employee experience forward. Winners are always forward thinking organisations that strive to do things differently and put people at the heart of their organisations.
The Connected Leaders at @livin programme, which helped Cirrus become recognised as the UK’s Best HR/L&D Consultancy by the CIPD People Management Awards, has won the Non-Profit/Charity Project of the Year Award.
This programme has developed leaders across livin, a leading County Durham homes and communities organisation, to be more future-focused in line with ambitious growth plans. It encouraged a more strategic business focus and helped to develop a ‘one livin’ mindset through increased collaboration to achieve shared goals, based around the unique Cirrus Connected Leadership methodology. 100% of participants feel their leadership skills have improved as a result of this programme, and customer satisfaction has increased.
In partnership with our clients at RB, the leading British multinational consumer goods company, we were also shortlisted for the Best Use of Technology Award. This award recognises a people-first approach to using technology to support and drive effective employee engagement.
RB is investing in a new Centre for Scientific Excellence in Hull which will open in 2018. Keen to place people at the heart of this ambitious initiative, the business wanted to enhance the positive elements of its culture and to encourage more cross-functional, collaborative working. RB worked with Cirrus to explore a scalable solution which would involve colleagues with the evolution of the new centre. The innovative Cirrus Strata digital platform has been key to ensuring long-term uptake and buy-in from colleagues across R&D. Not only is it a hub for communication and collaboration, it also provides access to valuable tools and resources which help managers, champions and all employees to take control of ongoing learning and development. This has created a sense of ownership. Employees now have a clear understanding of the role they play, they work more collaboratively, and feel they have greater opportunity to grow their skills and be more effective.
We are delighted that Cirruswas also a finalist in the category of Employee Engagement Consultancy of the Year. This recognises successful employee engagement within our own business as well as our success in helping our clients to engage their employees with organisational purpose, values and goals.
The awards were presented at a gala dinner in Wembley Stadium, London, on 25th January. We had a wonderful evening celebrating with clients and look forward to taking part again next year.
