We are delighted that the RB Connected Centre of Excellence programme has been shortlisted for two EE (Employee Engagement) Awards in the categories of Culture and Purpose and Innovation in Engagement. Cirrus is very proud to partner with RB on this trailblazing initiative.
The EE Awards provide a platform to recognise excellence in engagement that inspires action and drives the industry and the employee experience forward.
The Connected Centre of Excellence programme supports RB’s new £105m Centre of Excellence in Hull, which represents the largest single investment in the company’s history. The centre has been designed to promote modern, collaborative ways of working.
This innovative programme has built on RB’s winning culture to boost levels of collaboration, engagement and empowerment across UK-based R&D employees. It has also helped to increase staff retention and reduce absence.
Cirrus worked in partnership with RB to engage colleagues across R&D, carrying out a series of stakeholder interviews and workshops and creating a ‘Pathway to Excellence’ to provide a shared understanding of RB’s journey. A network of RB champions became role models for collaboration, taking on responsibility for workshop delivery and becoming catalysts for a wide range of extra-curricular activities to connect and engage colleagues such as an RB choir, conga, bake-off, sports and gaming groups.
Cirrus also developed a unique visual identity for the programme which was extended across promotional items, workbooks, and other learning and communications materials. The Cirrus Strata digital platform provided access to a range of tools and resources and also enabled participants to collaborate online.
The EE Awards will be presented at a gala dinner art Twickenham Stadium on Thursday 24 January. We look forward to a great evening.
